AMS 1.8

Faster sign-in, invoice help from Claude, clearer confirmation prompts, and a wave of Shopify sync fixes that heal stuck products on their own.

July 23 – August 7, 2026

AMS 1.8 makes signing in and loading your dashboard noticeably quicker, and lets Claude read a full order so it can help you draft an invoice. Confirmation prompts across the app now match the AMS look and speak in plain language, and a large batch of Shopify sync fixes clears up products that used to fail or get stuck. Stock Management, the Shopify connection, and the Claude connection are now fully out of Beta.

New Features

Invoices with Claude

  • Claude can now read a wholesale or retailer order and its full list of items — buyer details, date, and every line with quantity and price — so you can ask it to help draft an invoice. Creating and editing orders still happens in the app.

Clearer Confirmation Prompts

  • Every “are you sure?” prompt now uses the on-brand AMS dialog instead of the plain browser pop-up, with wording rewritten in plain language.
  • The red confirm button is now reserved for actions that actually delete something, so reversible changes like hiding a product no longer look alarming.

Improvements

  • Signing in and opening the dashboard is noticeably quicker — the page starts sooner without looking any different.
  • The volume-discount progress panel now stays bright and readable next to an open cart, updating live as buyers adjust quantities to reach the next tier or free shipping.
  • If you close the tab in the middle of a Shopify sync, AMS still finishes it for you in the background.
  • Shopify syncs that finish with a few failed items now show up under “Needs attention” in the Sync Health tab, instead of only under “All.”
  • In the sync review, the stock chooser no longer offers a “Shopify” option for items whose stock is counted from parts, and explains why that direction isn't available.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a stale sign-in or brief connection problem showing an error page across the whole app, and fixed the rare case of getting stuck in a sign-in loop.
  • Removed the dead “View Order” button from new-order emails to retailers — the email already shows the full order.
  • A consignment retailer's order is now always saved with the correct terms and pricing, even if their details briefly fail to load; the catalog now shows a “Try again” message instead of switching to the wrong pricing.
  • Shopify products that got stuck failing every sync (after variants were deleted and re-created, or added to an already-synced product) now heal themselves on the next sync.
  • Variants brought in from Shopify now arrive with the product's components and pricing, so their cost is no longer $0 and profit is no longer overstated.
  • After a sync changes a product's variants, the Manage Variants screen now shows the correct option values and variant order.
  • Choosing “Archive in AMS” for a variant removed in Shopify now actually applies instead of quietly changing nothing.
  • “Accept All” in the sync review no longer marks products with missing variants as done — it now lists the ones that still need a decision.
  • Syncing a single product to Shopify no longer reports success when one of its variants failed to send.
  • The “Shopify images finished syncing” email is no longer lost for good if the first send attempt fails.
