Accessibility Statement
Where AMS stands on accessibility, the gaps we know about, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
Our goal
Everyone should be able to run their business in AMS, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom, or voice control.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the international standard for accessible websites. That covers the AMS app and the wholesale catalog your stockists order from.
What works today
- Every page has its own title, clear headings, and a Skip to main content link.
- You can do the main tasks with only a keyboard: sign in, record a sale, add a product, update stock, check your goals, and place a wholesale order.
- Every form field has a name, and problems are read out in plain words.
- Pop-ups keep the keyboard inside them, and Escape closes them.
- Saved, failed, and loading messages are read out, not only shown.
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast, and nothing relies on color alone.
- Charts come with the same numbers in words or in a table.
- Every change to AMS is checked for common accessibility problems before it ships.
The Keyboard Shortcuts page in this section lists the keys that save the most time.
Known gaps
We know about these, and we are working on them:
- We have checked AMS with automated tools and by reading each main task the way a screen reader does. We are still finishing our own test with VoiceOver on Mac and iPhone, so you may find rough spots we have not.
- The Goals chart can't be stepped through with the arrow keys. The same month-by-month numbers are in the table next to it.
- Stockists without an AMS account can't open a support ticket themselves yet. Email us and we'll open one for you.
- Some steps happen on other companies' pages, such as Shopify, Etsy, Instagram, and Stripe checkout. We can't change those pages, but tell us if one blocks you and we'll help another way.
Report a barrier
If something in AMS gets in your way, please tell us. Every report becomes a support ticket, and we reply to each one.
- Signed in? Open a support ticket, or choose Help → Support Tickets at the top of any page.
- No account, or can't sign in? Email admin@artistmanagementstudios.com and we'll open the ticket for you.
It helps to tell us:
- which page you were on, and what you were trying to do
- what happened instead
- what you use, for example VoiceOver on an iPhone, or a keyboard with Chrome
