Retailers

Manage your wholesale and consignment retail business relationships.

Overview

The Retailers section lets you manage your wholesale and consignment retail business relationships. Each retailer has a full profile with contact information, stock tracking, transaction history, order management, and outreach records.

Create Retailer

Navigate to Retail > Retailers and click Create Retailer. Fill in the business details:

  • Business Name (required) — The retailer's business name
  • Type — Consignment or Wholesale
  • Contact Name, Email, Phone — Primary contact information. Email is used for order notifications
  • City, State — Location information
  • Rate (%) — The consignment rate or wholesale discount percentage for this retailer

Retailer Table

The retailer table shows Name, Type (badge), Last Contact, Contact, Email, Phone, City, State, Rate, Created, and Status. Click a retailer's Business Name to go directly to their detail page. Filter by Type (Consignment or Wholesale), City, or State using the toolbar. Certain fields can be edited directly in the table by clicking on them.

Retailer Details

Click a retailer name or select Details from the row action menu to open the retailer's full profile. The detail page has multiple tabs for managing different aspects of the relationship.

Stock Tab

Shows all products currently stocked at this retailer with quantities, pricing, and status. Use the filter toolbar to narrow by product metadata (Category, Collection, Material, Design, Size, Other). A summary section shows total stock value and item counts.

Transactions Tab

Displays the full transaction history with this retailer. Filter by context type (wholesale, consignment sale, consignment order, etc.) and payment status. Each transaction shows line items, totals, and dates. Column visibility can be toggled and preferences are saved.

Orders Tab

Lists all orders for this retailer with order status and payment status. Filter by order status (New, In Progress, Shipped, Delivered, Canceled) or payment status. Click through to the full order detail page.

Outreach Tab

Shows the outreach history for this retailer — all recorded contacts, notes, and follow-ups. New outreach entries can be logged directly from this tab.

Row Actions

The three-dot menu on each retailer row provides quick actions:

Add Sales

Opens the sales entry form pre-configured for this retailer. Add product line items by name or SKU, specify quantities and prices, then review the transaction statement before submitting.

Add Order

Opens the order creation flow for this retailer. Add product line items, review totals, and submit. The retailer and their contacts will receive an email notification with the order details.

Set Inactive

Retailers cannot be permanently deleted. Use Set Inactive from the row action menu to hide a retailer from the default view. Their history and data are preserved and the retailer can be reactivated at any time.
